A market is a market is a ...

Salamanca certainly somewhat more local in content, yet suffering from trying to cater to assumed tourist taste and hence utterly devoid of anything one actually needs, or even desires.

A walk through the 'burbs + occasional showers to the Cascade Brewery - still proud against its mountain backdrop + full of history + bustling weekend crowds.
Denver, the tour guide, mind filled to overflow with data, knowledge, history + experience; a delightful though almost exhausting host + seemingly eager to complete the formalities + retire to the more serious business of tasting brews.

Then a stroll 'home', downhill + into a slight breeze, the Derwent ever-visible, to Battery Point for our final night of Tasmanian indulgence.

Notes: My third visit to the Cascade Brewery and (no fault of Denver - he's just doing his allocated rounds) the least satisfactory tour as, perhaps due to the tedious Work Health & Safety regulations(?), none of the more interesting areas were visited e.g. the malting floor. But their stout is still sublime!
